Museum de Zwarte Tulp
Make your trip to Keukenhof and the famous bulb region complete with a visit to the Museum de Zwarte Tulp.
In this museum you will learn all about 5 centuries of flower bulb culture. The story starts with the introduction of the tulip in the Netherlands in 1594. You will also get to know all the details of the the tulip mania: also known as the tulip madness.
The museum also shows some authentic tools that tell the story of the flower bulb distribution. And you can even try to develop a new type of tulip.
There is also a more artistic part, where you can see with your own eyes how different artists have been inspired by bulb crops over the centuries.

During the flower parade "De bloemencorso" the museum closes at 13:00.
On the 24 and 31 of December the museum closes at 15:00
